An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established seven-branch veterinary group in South Manchester. This position offers a four-day working week, a weekend rota, and the chance to be part of a progressive, supportive, and enthusiastic team.
About the Role
* The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience, as the role may involve some sole-charge responsibilities.
* The position includes working within the first-opinion team, with occasional late evening (5 pm – 11 pm) and weekend shifts as part of a rota system.
* The practice operates its own 24-hour clinic, meaning that patient care is kept in-house, reducing the need for external referrals. The team prides itself on providing gold-standard veterinary care, supported by a multi-disciplinary certificate-led referral team based in its Tier 3 hospital.
Hours:
* Four-day working week (weekends compensated with time in lieu).
* No on-call responsibilities.
Advanced Facilities & Caseload
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon looking to develop clinically, with access to a diverse and exciting caseload. The practice is well-equipped with:
* Advanced diagnostic imaging (CT scanner, visiting MRI scanner).
* Flexible and rigid endoscopy.
* Direct radiography suites & ultrasound scanners.
* Electrocautery, laparoscopy, and fluoroscopy.
