The Sales Manager implements plans, promotes the product portfolio, delivers on the set objectives, and maintains the desired perceptions in their respective geographical market/markets.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure the sales deployment directions provided by the VP of Sales, Europe are reflected in the staffing of the sales company.
* Prepare a sales and margin budget, expense budget, or forecast.
* Ensure the accurate price list and pricing procedures are implemented.
* Recruit, mentor, and direct the Sales team, while closely collaborating with the Sales Support Manager.
* Build and implement an action-based local Marketing and Sales Plan.
* Conduct joint customer visits with the team members, to ensure good relationships with customers and supervise the field sales staff's performance.
* Lead wholesalers relationships, in regards to agreements, bonuses, rebates, data management, etc.
Qualifications:
YOU HAVE:
* Ideally a background in electrical engineering or industrial automation.
* Previous experience in industrial sales, mainly in the low-voltage sector, locally & international.
* Experience in leading teams, strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to present views in a clear and compelling manner.
* Proven ability to work in an international context.
* Great negotiating skills, used in collaborating with others to arrive at a conclusion using compromise, persuasion, influence, rationale, and tact both internally and externally in a selling environment.
* You are an initiator, strongly oriented towards growth and business drive!
