Senior Geophysicist
**Job Summary:**
Lead a field team, acquire geophysical data, and assist data processing and interpretation.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Lead offshore surveys, maintaining effective communication with the office and building strong relationships with clients.
* Project manage survey projects where necessary.
* Assist in leading data acquisition, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring quality and consistency of field data.
* Liaise with clients and organisations throughout the project lifecycle.
* Support Project Managers in project technical matters.
* Take ownership of data archive and data repository management.
* Lead mobilisations, calibrations, and equipment verifications.
* Be a technical authority on geophysical survey equipment and software.
* Continual training/development of junior staff.
* Adhere to and develop company QHSE standards.
**Requirements:**
* Degree in Geology, Geophysics, or related marine or earth science.
* At least 3 years working onboard vessels undertaking marine survey operations.
* Experience leading a small team undertaking marine survey tasks.
* Ability to take initiative, problem solve, and troubleshoot data.
* Competent with GIS and spatial data (QGIS & ArcGIS).
* Understanding of data management and required coordination skills.
* Good interpersonal and written communication skills.
* High level of computer literacy.
* High level of attention to detail.
