* Respond promptly to incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolutions in line with our SLA’s.
* Build strong relationships with third-party service providers to ensure smooth collaboration.
* Stay proactive in addressing operational and service issues, focusing on prevention rather than just fixes.
* Work closely with all technology team members to deliver a consistent service across UK locations, resolving incidents and addressing root causes.
What you will bring:
* Extensive expertise with the full M365 suite, including SharePoint, Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, Power BI, InTune and Entra.

* Capability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical staff at all levels.
* Experience in managing Windows file shares and administering Apple products like iPads and iPhones.
* Familiarity with Agile working environments, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Understanding support team practices, email protocols and routing methods.
* Knowledge in data privacy practices and laws.
* An ability to produce clear and effective documentation for new technologies.
* A knack for developing and following processes to ensure consistent outcomes.
Our approach to hybrid working:
We’re currently experimenting with hybrid working and involving colleagues across the business to shape our future ways of working. The needs of our teams and individuals are different, so we’re not taking a one-size-fits-all approach. While our offices are places to connect, collaborate and celebrate with colleagues, we recognise that flexibility about where you work is just as important for doing your best work and for your wellbeing.
For this role, there are meetings and activities that you will need to attend in-person, mainly at our offices in London or Colchester. We are open to discussing this through the recruitment process.
About Penguin:
We’re the UK’s largest publisher; made up of some 2,000 people and publishing over 1,500 books each year. Our doors are open to all kinds of talent. In a constantly evolving industry, we work hard to stretch the definition of the word publisher. Here, you’ll work with a breadth of talent who all play their part to make each of our books a success. Together, we make books for everyone because a book can change anyone.
Application deadline: Please apply with your CV by 11:59PM Sunday 24th September.
