The Pharmaceutical Process Technician is an essential role within our manufacturing team. The key purpose of the role is to carry out activities that support end to end Drug Substance preparation, processing, and manufacture. These activities will be carried out in a manner that utilises lean manufacturing philosophies and fulfils all cGMP and HSE requirements. Using your process knowledge you will identify, lead and drive improvements in all key strategic areas (Cost, Quality, Delivery, Process) – abiding by and implementing best practice where applicable, in order to support development and growth of process knowledge, skills, and competence within the Drug Substance team. Please note this role is being offered on an initial 6m Fixed Term Contract What will you be doing… Perform the preparation, processing and manufacturing activities involved in the production of BAS. Ensure compliance with HSE, cGMP and regulatory requirements. Execute simple preventative maintenance on manufacturing process equipment to minimise unplanned downtime. Support the execution of validation/qualification/development and MS&T protocols (by operating equipment) to maintain the qualified status of equipment. Support the monitoring and maintenance of the facility and direct utilities to meet the required compliant status. Participate in process monitoring and Operational Excellence initiatives. Support the maintenance of a constant state of inspection readiness. What we’re looking for… SAP/MRP and electronic systems application and knowledge Experience with Control charts and systems Basic Engineering Knowledge Basic Microbiology understanding.
