Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Audit Manager, you’ll work closely with the Head of Audit to manage and run the department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality audits for clients in the SME sector. Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading the team in delivering on-site audit work.
* Building strong relationships with clients, becoming their go-to advisor for audit needs, and managing both client expectations and internal teams.
* Playing a key role in the development and mentorship of the audit team, serving as a role model.
* Conducting file reviews across a diverse client portfolio, applying your technical knowledge while continuing to develop your own skills.
* Ensuring that quality standards are consistently met within the department.
* Identifying and delivering value-added services to clients, helping them achieve their goals.
* Contributing to the growth of the department by winning new work and converting leads into business.
Experience & Skills:
* Senior manager experience in a medium-sized practice working with SMEs.
* ACA or ACCA qualification.
* Strong technical knowledge, including UK GAAP, FRS102, IFRS, and ISAs.
* RI qualification, or the ability to achieve RI status within 12 months.
* A passion for building and nurturing client relationships.
* Tech-savviness, with knowledge of CCH being a plus.
* A proactive attitude and the ability to manage tasks of all sizes.
* The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
