About the role of Project Surveyor
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Surveyor to support their new commercial team on an exciting new project. You will be assisting in optimising profitability and cash flow, involved in various aspects of surveying, including subcontractor selection, managing subcontractor accounts, preparing valuations, and contributing to financial reporting.
You'll build strong relationships with clients, design teams, and the supply chain, working collaboratively across teams to support teamwork and ensure compliance with business-related and health and safety regulations.
The responsibilities of a Project Surveyor
1. Assist with tenders and procurement processes.
2. Manage packages from the earliest procurement stage to final account.
3. Conduct Monthly CVR's.
4. Provide general administrative support to the site commercial team.
5. Management of project risks and opportunities.
6. Preparing cost estimates and financial reports.
Requirements for Project Surveyor
1. Minimum of 5 years' experience working with a main contractor.
2. Understanding and appreciation of achieving the best value outcome.
3. Sufficient commercial acumen to make considered decisions.
4. Familiarity with and ability to use all MS Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
5. Ability to prepare accurate reports.
