The Purpose of the Role
As an Account Manager, you will foster strong, long-term client relationships, positioning yourself as a trusted adviser to key stakeholders. You will play a critical role in driving client success by understanding their business challenges, customer goals, and KPIs while identifying growth opportunities for both the client and Wood for Trees.
You will focus on delivering impactful strategies, optimising results, and ensuring value for clients. Working closely with Client Partners, internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and the wider team, you will ensure seamless collaboration and execution.
How will you spend your time?
* Managing client relationships, ensuring high-impact delivery and measurable value.
* Lead day-to-day client communication and project execution, working closely with the Account Director.
* Develop a strong understanding of client data, technology solutions, and their business impact.
* Review and prepare briefs, commercial proposals, and other client documents.
* Provide insightful reporting and recommendations, focusing on measurement, ROI, and value generation.
* Ensure delivery aligns with contractual commitments, monitoring SLAs and reporting against them.
* Work with internal teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
* Identifying opportunities to improve processes, always backing recommendations with data.
It’s important that you are experienced in
* Proven experience in client management with strong interpersonal skills.
* Managing teams to successfully deliver projects.
* Ability to challenge constructively to support client and agency objectives.
* Resourceful, tenacious, and calm under pressure.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Excellent presentation and communication skills.
* Understanding of how technology and tools support client activity.
* Familiarity with “agency Agile” methodologies and related tools.
* Commercially minded with confidence in financials.
* Strong administration and reporting skills.
* Active interest in learning about the charity sector.
The Recruitment Process
