Looking after monthly (in-house) payroll
Administration around expenses, pensions, renewals of benefits
Checking over payroll details input from HR
Addressing payroll queries from employees and colleagues
Assisting in the preparation of reports
Processing and collating payroll related information
Maintaining employee payroll record
Working closely with the HR team for any payroll changes
Contributing to the continuous improvement of payroll processes
Supporting the payroll manager with any additional tasks or project work
Effectively covering certain duties on behalf of payroll manager in their absence
Development |one day working from home post successful probation
A successful Senior Payroll candidate should have:
A strong understanding of payroll processes
Great communication skills and be able to speak to people on all levels
Be highly adaptable
Initiative and work well towards deadlines
Understand legislation and the new UK budget/commercial knowledge
High attention to detail
Excellent organisational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good with Excel
