Career Opportunity: Laboratory Instrument Coordinator
CK Group is recruiting for a Laboratory Instrument Coordinator, on behalf of an industry leading manufacturer of Scientific Instruments, to be primarily based on one of their client sites in the UK, on a permanent basis.
The main purpose of this position is to organize and coordinate the engineering work required on contracted and sometimes non-contracted laboratory instruments.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Assigning, distributing, and scheduling work orders using the Computerized Maintenance Management system (CMMS), liaising with supervisors or third-party contractors.
* Receiving and verifying customer work requests, entering information into the CMMS, and issuing work orders to appropriate personnel.
* Scheduling off-site calibration send-aways using the CMMS.
* Liaising with procurement to ensure valid purchase order numbers are in place for all non-contract work orders.
* Communicating with end-users and third-party contractors to determine priority and schedule work.
* Booking site visits using Client systems.
* Liaising with the LIS Technical Administrator to ensure calibration labels are prepared and distributed.
* Maintaining accurate CMMS records and escalating issues as necessary.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will have 3-5 years of administrative experience, excellent customer service skills, good interpersonal skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office packages. The estimated salary for this position is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum.
