Job Title: Risk Analyst Location: Canary Whf, London - Hybrid 3 days in office Duration: 12 months Contract As a Business Risk Advisor you will: - Understand operational processes across the teams supporting the SSGM business lines in order to provide a holistic view of risks with accountability to management. - Provide support to regional leadership, managing governance committees/forums, monitoring and risk reporting and ensuring adherence to local regulatory requirements. - Act in a supporting or advisory capacity to ensure the accuracy and timely reporting of risk information to management to make informed risk decisions. - Support risk assessment and reduction initiatives which include, but are not limited to: Issues and Incident Management, Risk Control Self Assessments (RCSA), Legal Entity Risk Assessments (LERA), KRI analysis, Business Risk Forum (BRF) attendance, Process and Control Reviews, Outsourcing Oversight and, Policy and Regulatory Change reviews. - Ensure global risk management practices and programs are implemented based on applicability for the entity with oversight of any third party relationships. Identify opportunities to refine LE/Country specific requirements and harmonize global best practices. - Partner with the second and third lines of defense in support of local risk and control initiatives and face off with local regulators, clients or external auditors to articulate a risk view across the LEs. Excellent writing, data management, attention to detail and reporting skills. 7 years of experience in audit, compliance, operations or business risk in the financial services industry, with particular emphasis on the Securities Financing or Foreign Exchange industries preferred.
