They are seeking a candidate with extensive experience and technical knowledge in fenestration, ideally from an order processing or fabrication background. The successful applicant will quickly integrate into our organization and contribute effectively with minimal introduction. A solid understanding of window fabrication or design is essential. This is an office-based opportunity, located in Orpington South London/Kent. Applicants must live within a commutable distance or be willing to relocate, as there are no remote or hybrid options available. Role Overview: This role is ideal for an experienced order processor in fenestration or a senior fabricator looking to transition into an office environment away from the factory floor. You will be integral to the production planning and processing of aluminium windows and doors, managing orders, stock, and production schedules. Reporting to the Operations Manager, your logistics and warehouse management skills will drive efficient shipping and receiving operations, enhance team performance, and improve profitability. You will also coordinate projects and oversee continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Manage order processing, product design coordination, capacity planning, and financial aspects of contracts. Act as a key point of contact for technical advice and troubleshooting for the products we specify and fabricate. Handle projects from order to completion, ensuring accurate paperwork, procurement of custom parts, and smooth manufacturing processes. Provide proficient oversight for orders on individual projects and multi-plot house building projects. Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining professional relationships and meeting program expectations. Collaborate with project management teams to execute, monitor, control, and close housing projects. Qualifications: A robust background in fabrication, order processing, or design-related fields, including project coordination and scheduling. Experience with Reynaers Aluminium and Cortizo systems is a plus, but experience with other system houses is welcomed. Expertise in all types of windows, doors, curtain walling, and glass roofing, primarily in aluminium. Knowledge of UPVC and timber fenestration is advantageous. Proficient in fenestration software, with experience using tools such as First Degree Window Designer, Reynapro, LogiKal, and Autodesk AutoCAD 2D. Strong experience in ensuring exemplary customer service and project delivery. Ability to manage multi-plot housing projects, executing tasks with precision and aligning with customer expectations.
