The successful candidate for the above role will retain their current employer, i.e. if you are a Jaguar employee you will continue to be administered on the Jaguar grading structure with the associated terms and conditions. If you are currently on BAC or EMC terms, you will retain your current employer but will transfer to a JLR contract and the associated terms and conditions.
We have a new exciting opportunity for an experienced Safety Advisor, to join our essential safety and risk function at JLR. You will be at the forefront of innovation, driving JLR's Zero harm strategy to achieve world class outcomes and the opportunity to join a team of dedicated safety professionals. In this role you will be able to expand and grow as a safety professional to unleash your inner passion for the industry.
WHAT TO EXPECT
This role will involve advising and assisting the business throughout the transformation of current facilities and equipment, as well as those in respect to future growth and expansion. You will act as a key team member in this Safety function and will be critical in ensuring our plant and facilities incorporate the best in safe design in addition to supporting the business through a significant period of change.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
The responsibilities are varied but you will essentially be involved in advising and assisting the business on the safety aspects of infrastructure, facilities and equipment changes and upgrades. You will be guiding the business through their responsibilities by working with key stakeholders to deliver these key project elements.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
* Experienced working within construction environments and with a solid understanding of the Construction, (Design & Management) Regulations 2015
* Experience of safety support on engineering projects
* Experience within automotive or manufacturing type environments
