You will be experienced in all aspects of glazing windows and doors including beading, packing windows correctly, toeing and heeling French Doors and fitting glass locks. You will have a positive outlook with a strong focus on doing the right thing, moving forward, being different and succeeding together.
You will know what it takes to achieve targets – and you’ll have the motivation to get results.
Hours of work are 8 hours per day Monday to Friday between the hours of 6am-10pm
Role Responsibilities but not limited to:
1. To provide excellent quality glazing of Windows and Doors;
2. To focus on producing a quality product, in line with the production plan, ensuring targets are met and customer delivery is on time and in full;
3. To make sure your work is completed in line with the work instruction and standard operating procedures;
4. To follow and be responsible for the Health & Safety guidelines and regulations;
5. To assist your colleagues, team leaders and supervisors in resolving production queries when required;
6. To work with the production team to develop ideas for continuous improvement;
7. To work as part of a team and develop positive working relationships.
Person Attributes
8. Previous experience of glazing Windows and Doors in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is essential;
9. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to understand and follow work instructions;
10. Good problem-solving skills with the ability to achieve targets;
11. Excellent interpersonal skills;
12. A strong team player who can work on their own initiative and as part of a team;
13. A self-motivated individual with a “can-do” approach to their work;
14. Excellent time keeper;
15. A willingness to undertake further training.
