Transport Supervisor FT Permanent Doncaster About us: The role of the Transport Supervisor is responsible to the organisation across all sites for the provision and maintenance of all vehicle fleets and drivers including 2EE. Included in this responsibility is the hiring of suitable replacement vehicles if none of the existing vehicle fleet are available. The Transport Supervisor will require strong interpersonal communication skills, as well as bonding existing and future relationships with all members of staff and our external customers. Leadership and excellent organisational skills are also key requirements for the role to facilitate the delivery of service requirements for staff supporting existing and future contracts. The role will involve working on one’s own initiative as part of a strong, open, and resourceful team, forging strong working relationships with all other Departments to overcome challenges associated with the local environment and the specific types of tasks required. About the Role: The role’s key responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Ensure the serviceability of the 2Excel car fleet including their general condition, cleanliness, mileage, and maintenance programmes are met requirements. This is to be monitored on a regular basis and appropriate records kept. Ensuring that the drivers meet the requirements as laid down in Transport SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) 002 (Transport policy). Arranging suitable replacement vehicles if the existing vehicle fleet are not available due to maintenance. Ensuring all vehicles are suitably insured and recorded on the 2Excel motor vehicle database. POC for vehicle lease companies regarding vehicle contracts, contract amends, end-of-lease returns and new vehicle ordering as directed by your line manager. Establish and maintain hire car accounts, maintaining a good working relationship with our providers. Management of the 2Excel company drivers, their timesheets, expenses, and subsistence claims. Continually and proactively seeking new ways of working to improve overall business performance. Oversight and staff support of the online vehicle booking system. Monitoring fuel card usage for all vehicles, including ordering new, replacement or cancelling cards according to the current requirement. End-of-month reports, including monitoring driver hours, fuel card usage, mileage usage on all vehicles, CO2 emissions and monthly vehicle costs. POC for the EO electric vehicle Chargers, creating accounts and assisting with troubleshooting as required. Monthly visual inspections of the vehicles, recording any damage, organising repairs and reporting to the relevant business unit. Organise the transport team’s petty cash account including end-of-month reconciliations to Finance. Ensure all company vehicles are logged for charges relating to the Dart crossing, London Congestion charges & ULEZ. About you: Articulate and can build credible trusting relationships both within and outside of own department. Applicants must be able to demonstrate the Right to Work in the UK, hold a valid UK Driving Licence and pass the basic disclosure Scotland airport checks. Full UK driving license.
