Job Requirements
Hours of work
* Full-time and part-time available
* Full-time: 38.5 hours per week including weekends
* (42 scheduled hours per week minus breaks)
Job Role
* Prepare and serve all food to ensure a balanced, nutritious diet for all Residents as well as maintaining high standards of hygiene in the kitchen
* Work according to guidance from the Home Manager and as a team with the Registered Nurses to meet the needs and preferences of the Residents
* Manage the performance of Kitchen staff
Experience
We are looking for experience in some or all of the following areas:
Qualifications
* Health and safety certificate
* Food hygiene certificate
* NVQ level 2 or 3 in Food Preparation and Cooking
Work Experience
* Previous experience of working in a kitchen essential
* Working to deadlines
Skills and Abilities
* Good verbal and written communication
* Organising and coordinating skills
* Can adapt well to working independently and in a team
* Team leading abilities
