Conveyancing Paralegal

Full Time role, based on site
Salary between £24,000 - £27,000 DOE
Based in Sheffield
Medlock Partners are currently supporting a well-established law firm with recruiting for a conveyancing paralegal to join their offices in Sheffield. The successful person will assist the progressing the purchase transactions and have the ability to manage own case load with minimal supervision.
Key responsibilities of the Conveyancing Paralegal
· Managing a small case load of residential purchase transaction
· Drafting and preparing documents in accordance with instructions
· Involved with facilitating exchange of contracts
· Preparing financial statements
· Preparing and submitting SDLT
· Providing regular updates to clients via email and telephone
· Archiving of files
· Updating the company case management system
Key requirements for the Conveyancing Paralegal
· Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience within a similar conveyancing role
· Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
· Excellent communications skills both written and spoken
· Knowledge of carrying out land registry searches, and preparing conveyancing documents
· Experience with case management systems
· Excellent client care skills
