You will ensure that all ingredients are prepped and that your work area is set up ready for an efficient service and learning to cover all sections You will have a good understanding of your ingredients and dishes delivering exceptional standards in your cooking and making sure we cater to each guest’s requirements to maintain our excellent levels of service. Ensure the highest standard of hygiene & cleanliness to ensure safe food preparation by following our company procedures and completing the necessary paperwork in line with our food safety management system Understand your role in making a profitable kitchen by following menu specs, correctly recording wastage and ordering only what we need. Support other members of the team and develop good working relationships with each other and work with the Head Chef to develop junior members of the team About You You should be NVQ level 2 qualified and have experience working in a commercial kitchen ideally in a hotel environment. You should also have excellent communication skill and a passion for good food and quality ingredients.
