Lottoland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front End Engineer to join our dynamic development team in one of our key domains. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of our web products, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and user-friendly. You will collaborate closely with our backend engineers, UX/UI designers, and product owners to deliver exceptional products that meet our players' needs. What you will do: Lead the development of responsive and high-performance web applications using modern front-end technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Mentor and guide junior front-end developers, providing code reviews and technical leadership. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, advocating for best practices and innovative solutions. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, coding, testing, and deployment. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues and bugs, ensuring a seamless user experience. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and infrastructure. Who you are: High quality standards. Awareness of Clean code practices, as well as others (SOLID, KISS, DRY, etc.) Exposed and experienced with standard frontend technologies, HTML, CSS, SASS. Good understanding of complex and distributed software architecture including both frontend and backend. Experience with any framework (e.g React, Litelement, Angular, stenciljs) and building webcomponents. Passion and eagerness to build the best front end experience for User onboarding journey and User profile on our platforms together with your team. Experienced in Observability and monitoring best practices and tools such as Datadog, Kibana, Grafana or Amazon CloudWatch. Good understanding of whole software lifecycle and tools, and proficient using Git. Familiar with agile development and continuous delivery. Eagerness to work on topics like performance optimization, responsiveness, scaling and high availability. Experience with OOP, design patterns, databases, and data structures. Experience in JavaScript and it’s particularities. Familiar with cloud technologies, any of the following: Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, CloudFlare workers, etc. Experience on testing strategy and tools for both backend and frontend components (Karma, Jasmine, Jest, ). Enthusiastic about working in multi-disciplinary teams. Attention to detail, proactive mindset and commitment to quality. Ability to mentor and guide team members. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills( Company language is English). Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment. Desirable: Experience in developing self-contained/micro services is a plus. Experience building microfrontends. Experience with cloudflare workers. Professionally experience with any of the following topics Litelement, creating design systems, CMS Magnolia, Java, Gitlab CI or similar. Familiarity with front-end build tools, such as Babel, WebPack, Rollup, TypeScript (tsc) etc. Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform.
