We are looking for a Tool Room Engineer to join the Tool Room, Facilities, and Mould Shop department. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to all areas of Production and Mould Shop, setting up and operating equipment including CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, Grinders, and other tool room machining equipment. The team currently consists of two professionals and an apprentice, and we are excited to welcome a new member to help shape the future. This is a full-time, fixed-term position available until the end of August 2025, based on-site in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire. The working hours are Monday to Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM and Friday from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Our Stonehouse site specializes in manufacturing plastic components and single-use products. Your Responsibilities Maintain injection mould tooling on a daily basis Manufacture and fit quality parts for production jigs, fixtures, and tooling Inspect parts visually and using appropriate measuring tools Perform preventative and responsive maintenance on tools, jigs, and fixtures Ensure work meets required quality standards and maintain a clean, safe working environment Develop and follow a preventative maintenance schedule compliant with ISO13485 Support the Tool Room Manager and the daily production team as required Follow quality system requirements and notify the Quality team of any quality-related issues Maintain systems to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and IVD regulations, including good documentation practices What We Are Looking For HNC/HND in Engineering or equivalent Experience in plastic injection mould tooling, ideally in pharmaceutical, medical, or biopharmaceutical industries (other sectors such as automotive and aerospace will also be considered) Previous experience in a manufacturing or workshop tooling environment Machining experience capable of high-tolerance work Knowledge of manufacturing processes CNC experience Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work well both independently and within a team Highly organized with strong attention to detail Good IT skills The successful candidate must have the right to work in the UK.
