Job Title Strategic Asset Manager Head Office Location: Brindley Place, Birmingham Job Location: Chippenham Hybrid Salary - £58,000 ( £750 Car Allowance) per annum Contract type - Permanent Working hours - Full Time (37) Closing date - 01/11/2024 Interview date - TBC About the role You will lead a team of surveying, data and property professionals to understand our assets and customers, collecting the right type of data to drive decisions around developing asset programmes and strategy. The role will lead on developing, managing and maintaining the Asset Management database, managing the quality and integrity of the data held within the system, together with leading the Property Investment Team in the production of all future property related Long Term Financial Plans (LTFP`s) and annual maintenance plans, working directly with the Finance teams to ensure financial viability and stability. You will ensure that our homes are safe, desirable and sustainable through the preparation, tracking and monitoring of published annual programmes of investment work to meet key regulatory areas including Decent Homes, EPC C 2030 and HHSRS compliance. You will work collaboratively and collectively with teams throughout the business to help lead and execute our asset strategy, consulting and actively engaging with key stakeholders. About you You will be an experienced Asset Manager ideally with a Degree in a property related discipline or data management or professional qualification or verbal reasoning and numerical skills to the equivalent ability level. Previous experience in managing asset management databases and using data to inform asset strategy will be an advantage. You will have excellent analytical skills and be able to use these in interpreting data to ensure compliance to relevant property legislation, regulation and health and safety compliance. You will operate with autonomy and will need to be effective in dealing with complex problems, sometimes with limited data and making the case for the best one. Experience of managing a stock condition data collection process is desirable as is managing and supporting surveying staff with technical queries. Good understanding of budgets and budget setting is essential as is a proven track record of making informed decisions and providing advice on investment and divestment decisions.
