We are seeking a Senior Compliance Officer to oversee all the Compliance disciplines.
The successful candidate will have knowledge of as many of the Big 6 subject matters (Asbestos, Electrical Fire, Gas, Lifts and Water) as possible. An understanding of what the regulatory requirements are with regards to these disciplines is important and what the deliverables from the Compliance Team should look like.
They will be responsible for pulling all the different contractor meetings together, to ensure they are all delivered in the same way with consistency of agendas, minutes, actions and KPIs.
The Senior Compliance Officer will have accountability for ensuring that the new Compliance System that GBC is looking to invest in is properly used, and the investment that GBC is making is leveraged. They will become the Compliance System Champion and understand how all certification is managed on to the System, how cyclical testing programmes are built and how stakeholders can access the system and witness real-time reporting of GBC compliance.
The post holder will ultimately manage a Compliance Officer.
The role will also deliver reports to the Regulator for Social Housing and other stakeholders as and when required.
Above all, the role is about discipline, thoroughness and consistency of approach.
