This is a full-time, long-term position starting after Easter and continuing until the end of the academic year. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will: Work closely with the Class Teacher to support children with SEN on a 1-1 and small group basis. Assist in delivering the National Curriculum across Key Stage 1 (KS1). Support pupils with Autism, ADHD, ASD, SEMH, and challenging behaviour to enhance their learning experience. Implement tailored learning strategies to meet individual needs. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment within the Primary School. Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals. Required Skills and Experience: Previous experience as a SEND Teaching Assistant or TA in a UK school. Understanding of National Curriculum and Key Stage 1 (KS1). Experience supporting pupils with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, ASD, SEMH, and challenging behaviour. Strong communication and teamwork skills. A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
