Post 1 – 28 hours per week until 31 December 2025
Post 2 - 35 hours per week until 31 July 2025
Working within a fast-paced and demanding environment, you will provide initial HR advice and support in relation to all areas of the HR function including:
1. recruitment and selection,
2. absence management,
3. performance management,
4. flexible working,
5. maternity/paternity,
6. employee relations matters.
The ideal candidate will:
1. possess a relevant Degree in Human Resources (or equivalent relevant qualification);
2. ideally have the CIPD qualification at level 3 and be working towards your level 5 qualification;
3. have experience of working within a busy HR function at a similar level;
4. have experience of working with an HR system (including data entry, production of reports, and analysis of data);
5. have the ability to manage conflicting priorities while working to tight deadlines;
6. exhibit excellent organisational skills and attention to detail;
7. be able to build effective working relationships with managers and trade union representatives;
8. have an up-to-date working knowledge of employment legislation.
