A teacher is needed for a special educational needs (SEN) school in North London for students with autism (ASD).
As a teacher, you will support secondary school students aged 11-19, who need extra support than in offered in mainstream schools.
This school is easily accessible from around London, with great transport links.

Your responsibilities as a teacher may include:
Lesson planning and delivery for students with a range of learning difficulties and complex needs. This may include alternative teaching methods, such as Lego therapy and intensive interaction sessions.
Helping students to develop confidence and independence.
Implementing behaviour management techniques, which may include physical restraints, to maintain a positive and safe learning environment.
Working with specialist teaching services, medical staff, counsellors, and psychologists
Being aware of safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
To be a teacher, you will need:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or overseas trained teacher awaiting QTS.
