Be the first point of contact on the ward for staff, patients and visitors either face to face or over the telephone.
Input information onto the EPIC system.
Be responsible for the administrative admission of all women and babies to the ward.
Create medical records for women not previously cared for at CUH.
Return notes and documents no longer required on the Unit to Medical Records, ensuring that all necessary documentation/filing has been completed.
Arrange appointments for Clinics, Ultrasound, etc.
Main duties of the job
Greet visitors face-to face and respond to requests for basic information.
Receive and respond to straightforward telephone call.
Receive and respond to straightforward emails.
Complete straightforward forms/administrating/correspondence using templates.
Liaise with colleagues with issues outside your control.
Book appointments.
Maintain stock levels and place orders.
Collect, open and distribute mail.
Input information on Trust systems (i.e EPIC, RealTime etc.).
Cover other positions with work area during absence.
Any other administrative duties as required
