Chemistry Teacher Opportunity in Saltash
Vision for Education is currently seeking a dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join a secondary school in the Saltash area. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students in the field of science while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.
About the Role
As a Chemistry Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative chemistry lessons to secondary school students. You will collaborate with other teaching staff, contribute to the development of lesson plans, and ensure that the highest standards of teaching are maintained. This position will begin on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent following a successful trial period.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging Chemistry lessons to secondary school students
Support and guide students in their scientific understanding and practical skills
Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and effective learning environment
Maintain effective communication with staff members and contribute to school-wide initiatives
Requirements
To be considered for the Chemistry Teacher position, you should:
Possess a strong understanding of chemistry and the secondary science curriculum
Demonstrate the ability to inspire and engage students in scientific learning
Exhibit a positive and proactive approach to teaching and continuous professional development
Be well-organised, punctual, and adaptable
Have a commitment to promoting inclusion and equity in education
Previous experience teaching Chemistry at the secondary level is required
