Legal Billing Administrator
Your new company
You will be joining an award-winning specialist patent firm with a global client base ranging from SMEs to multinational blue-chip companies. Joining a vibrant and hard-working billing team of 4 as their billing coordinator, working 3 days per week in their Chancey Lane office. This position will sit on the litigation side of the business.
Your new role
* Act as first point of contact for queries and requests
* Organise and distribute monthly billing workload, such as preparation of WIP reports, amending WIP, drafting and finalising bills. Assist paralegals with billing queries
* Manage eBilled clients, including the upload of LEDES files & bills, the onboarding process for new ebilled clients, managing client invoices and client rates, invoice rejections and queries
* Oversee compliance with internal billing procedures
* Manage disbursements
* Produce reports and assist in monitoring of WIP and billed fees
* Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and budgets
What you'll need to succeed
* Up to 2 years legal finance experience
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to successfully liaise with senior colleagues/partners/stakeholders
* High attention to detail
* Self-motivated and driven
