Job overview
Do you want to make a real difference to patient care?
We do and we have, but we are looking to recruit more staff nurses to continue and contribute to making a real difference to our older male patients.
We are looking for trained staff nurses to join our journey of celebrating and embracing older care. It’s an exciting time for our 5 older care wards as they have recently been redesigned to be ‘dementia friendly’ following £600k funding from the Department Of Health.
We are also piloting a new older persons 'Enhanced Recovery Pathway' - one of the first Trusts to do this. This highlights that as a Trust we are innovative (as reflected in our Trust aims - Excellence, Ambition and Innovation) aiming to make a real difference to patient care for now and the future.
Excellent patient care is at the heart of everything we do and we believe our staff are central in achieving this. Therefore we offer tailored personal development and the opportunity to take part in exciting new research.
If you are motivated, compassionate and want to make a real difference to the care of our older patients, then we are looking for you to join us on our journey – we want to hear from you.
