We are on the lookout for an Area Cleaning Manager to oversee the safe and efficient delivery of services across our customer sites in the Midlands area. This is a busy and diverse role where you will support frontline teams to ensure we continue to provide the best service in the industry to our clients.
You will be supervising teams of cleaning operatives in a multi-site environment to ensure service delivery standards and specifications are met within budget, therefore delivering on / above agreed service level agreements. This is a hands-on role and applicants should be able to work to a high standard and possess good interpersonal skills. In addition, you will have good decision-making skills, be a self-starter, and pro-active in your approach.
About You:
This role requires you to think on your feet and have a friendly disposition paired with good people skills. You will hold a full UK Driving License; you will have experience in managing accounts or contracts ideally in the cleaning sector, however, we are also open to applications from other support services environments. You will be able to demonstrate that you possess excellent time management skills and can prioritise workloads.
What You'll Be Doing:
1. Lead and inspire: Motivate and develop a high-performing team to deliver outstanding cleaning across our customer sites.
2. Manage effectively: Oversee employee relations including recruitment ensuring a positive and cohesive working environment.
3. Oversee service delivery across multiple customer sites, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
4. Monitor budgets and ensure efficient cost management, including the processing of payroll.
5. Build strong relationships with customers and employees to drive service excellence.
6. Champion best practice and problem solve: Maintain and update cleaning plans and act quickly and effectively in a fast-moving environment.
