Operations Manager - New Bank Health Centre
gtd healthcare is one of the largest NHS commissioned Primary and Urgent care providers in North West England. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Operations Manager to lead the operations at New Bank Health Centre.
New Bank Health Centre is a practice located in Longsight, Manchester. We are situated on Stockport Road in a purpose-built medical centre which offers great links to public transport. The practice has recently been acquired by gtd healthcare following a procurement process and serves approximately 6,500 patients in the local and surrounding areas.
As an Operations Manager, you will be an effective communicator with excellent organisational and motivational skills, achieving the best out of your team. You will be able to work without direct supervision and be able to prioritise work and problem solve in a variety of situations, making use of other team members and resources around you.
This is a high-profile appointment, and we are looking for an excellent candidate with operations management experience and someone who can demonstrate they have successfully led primary care teams in a previous role.

Main duties of the job
* Support leadership throughout your teams to look after staff and ensure high-quality patient care.
* Support the management of the practice, ensuring quality standards and targets are met.
* Operational line management of clinical and non-clinical staff, including all aspects of human resource management.
* Develop positive and effective working relationships with other gtd healthcare departments to facilitate accurate and timely communication concerning clinical governance, risk management, and quality assurance.
* Promote positive and effective working relationships with commissioners, other health care providers, and key partners to support an integrated approach to high-quality patient care.
* Participate in the maintenance of quality governance systems and processes across the organisation and its activities.
* Collaborate with other clinical teams to improve the quality of health care responding to local and national policies and initiatives as appropriate.
* Support the development of effective methods of monitoring and quality assuring the performance of the Operations function.
* Share systems knowledge and understanding within the business to enhance the quality of services delivered.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Management qualification or working towards one, or a degree and relevant work experience.
Experience
* Experience in operational management, including supervisory experience both remote and on-site.
* Experience of performance management.
* Experience of implementing operational systems solutions. Strategic Resource Planning Knowledge.
* Experience of working and/or managing a remote workforce.

£32,094 to £36,594 a year depending on experience.
