Job Title: Credit and Collections Advisor
Salary: £23,000 to £28,000
Location: Birmingham
Bell Cornwall Recruitment are pleased to be hiring a Credit Controller for a fantastic green energy business in Birmingham. The company has seen a substantial amount of growth and would be ideal for someone who is looking to grow and develop with a company.
The Candidates responsibilities:
1. The candidate would be responsible for being proactive and calling/emailing business to chase debt.
2. Having previous experience as a Credit Controller or Collections Advisor would be beneficial when it comes to completing the general Credit Control duties.
3. Be able to review, analyse and improve all processes and queries.
4. Be confident when it comes to decision making and speaking with clients of all size.
5. Communicating with other departments to resolve any issues and chase held up payments.
6. Identifying areas of high risk and reporting this.
7. Maintaining regular contact with clients to ensure all payments are made in a timely manner.
8. Checking and managing Change of Tenancy processes.
9. Supporting the larger Customer Operations team.
The Candidates requirements:
10. Experience within the energy/utility sector is desirable.
11. B2B experience is ideal.
12. Excellent telephony and written skills are necessary.
13. Excel skills are essential – someone who can figure their way around this software.
14. A proactive, energetic and adaptable individual.
