Overview\n\nWe are seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) in a diverse and inclusive educational setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with students of all abilities.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n * Work closely with individual students with EHCPs to provide academic and pastoral support.\n\n * Implement specific learning plans and instructional strategies as outlined in EHCPs.\n\n * Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to promote an inclusive and accessible learning environment for children with SEN.\n\n * Monitor and track student progress, and provide feedback to teaching staff and parents/guardians.\n\n * Support students in developing independence, social skills, and self-regulation.\n\nQualifications\n\n * Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including Autism, ADHD and Challenging Behaviour.\n\n * Strong understanding of inclusive education principles and practices.\n\n * Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with a diverse range of students, staff, and families.\n\nDay-to-Day\n\n * Provide one-on-one support to students during classroom activities and independent work.\n\n * Assist students with mobility, sensory, or personal care needs as required.\n\n * Foster positive and supportive relationships with students, promoting a sense of belonging and confidence in their abilities.\n\n * Implement behavior management strategies to support student well-being and promote a positive learning environment.\n\n * Communicate regularly with teachers and other staff to ensure coordinated and consistent support for students with EHCPs
