Key responsibilities: Supplier Management: Select and negotiate with top suppliers, optimize performance. Cost Control: Oversee budgets, implement savings strategies. Quality Assurance: Ensure high standards and resolve issues. Strategic Sourcing: Develop plans to align with business goals and market trends. Contract Management: Negotiate and manage supplier contracts. Collaboration: Engage stakeholders, support project goals. Compliance: Ensure ethical practices and risk management. Required experience: 7 years in procurement or category management. Procurement or category management background in construction, manufacturing, or engineering would be beneficial Experience in transport or subcontractor procurement a plus Bid life cycle: Extensive experience in handling RFPs and tenders from kick off Relevant degree or CIPS qualified Strong leadership, communication, and strategic skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to travel.
