About the job Sofico is a Hidden Champion: We’re the world’s leading supplier of software solutions and services for asset finance, leasing and fleet mobility management. Our software is used at a broad range of enterprise business all over the world. We’re currently scaling our delivery teams as we look to expand and are recruiting Project Managers with relevant experience. What you’ll be doing You will lead a team of 4-10 to deliver complex software implementations and to help you get the job done you will have access to a comprehensive and well documented PMO, a team of PMO professionals and a variety of product support teams, training and delivery teams and the UK Business Consultancy function. We get that, most software implementations follow a similar processes or small changes and bug fixes and quick patches but we care about delivery and want to make sure we get it right first time, so this absolutely isn’t us. You won’t be managing multiple concurrent projects or small changes but you will be dealing with enterprise projects from day 1. This means working with coordinated delivery teams on both sides of the table, integrating yourself with 1 or 2 customers and focusing on their business, the program of work across their group and ensuring delivery by working with our internal teams to configure, deploy, train and manage large scale software implementations. Your interests and skills You have thorough experience with project management and project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum etc.) in a software implementation context. Together with your project team you are responsible to establish and achieve objectives; balance the competing demands for quality, scope, time and cost; perform risk assessments; adapt the specifications, plans and approaches to the different concerns and expectations of the various stakeholders. You have a thorough knowledge and experience with the different phases of a software implementation project: from pre-sales phase till go-live; including: requirement analysis, configuration, development, migration, testing etc You are able to maintain an overview of the different phases and manage the implementation of different modules simultaneously. You have excellent organization skills, an analytical mind, a strong commercial awareness and you are diplomatic. You have a helico view as well as a pragmatic approach. You are a people manager and coach: you succeed in getting your team on track and keep each project member motivated throughout the project duration. You challenge and inspire your team. You organize and manage communication streams and reporting internally and externally. With your excellent communication, presentation and writing skills you can effectively and concisely communicate project and technical information to provide comprehensive recommendations. You have strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on relationship management and influencing skills, you have the ability to manage difficult situations. You have a thorough experience in large scale ERP deployments. You have experience in the financial sector; experience of the leasing business is a plus. You are fluent in English. Traveling during keys stages of the project and occasionally to our HQ in Belgium doesn't scare you.
