NES Fircroft are partnering with a large chemical manufacturer to hire a Process Control Engineer for their site in Hull. This is a permanent opportunity with excellent benefits.
The Process Control Engineer will be the go-to expert for all aspects of process automation for a specific asset, responsible for:
* Maintaining and developing process automation techniques such as process control
* Designing and implementing Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS)
* Configuring Distributed Control System (DCS) hardware strategies
* Establishing procedures, standards, and documentation

About You:
We seek someone with engineering experience in DCS/SIS systems, preferably gained in continuous refinery or chemical processes. Essential skills include:
* Honeywell DCS hardware knowledge and troubleshooting
* Chemical engineering process knowledge with plant commissioning support capability
* Strong maintenance practices understanding for managing petrochemical plant availability cost-effectively
* Ability to handle complex technical situations, innovate, and solve problems effectively, working both autonomously and as part of a team
* Good understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems
