We are seeking a talented individual to join our Specialty Construction Practice a t Marsh. This role will be based in Norwich. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
We have a new opening within the claims team within the Marsh Construction and Infrastructure Practice, where 180 colleagues service all aspects of the sector both in the UK and overseas. Progress your insurance claims career as part of a dedicated international team of 40 claims professionals who work together to deliver successful outcomes for our clients everyday.
Our client base includes the world’s leading construction and engineering companies as well as Infrastructure Investment funds who are looking to expand or improve their portfolio of operational assets.

We wil count on you to:
* Service our clients’ needs in relation to their claims arising under their construction related insurance covers in conjunction with claims colleagues in our client service teams.
* Liaise with Claims Executives and Claims Advisors on a range of claims including moderately complex files from start to finish as part of an expanded claims team dedicated to our Construction book of business covering the UK and overseas clients and risks.
* Build and maintain relationships with Brokers, Clients and Markets in the construction sector to understand issues in order to resolve problems and queries and review working practices.
* Make use of available MI to monitor performance and prioritise workloads.
What you need to have:
* Claims experience, looking to develop a rewarding claims career
* A desire to progress to work in complex claims management and advocacy in a client facing role as part of a full service team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Negotiation and persuasive negotiation skills
* Proficient with the usual Microsoft software packages
* Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines
* Ambition to succeed within a team environment
