Teaching Assistant (SEND) - Merton Are you a compassionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a supportive school? We are seeking a committed SEND TA to join a welcoming school in Merton, helping to support children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The Role: Full-time SEND Teaching Assistant position Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment Support children with Autism, ADHD, Speech & Language difficulties, and other SEND needs Implement EHCP targets and adapt learning materials to meet individual needs Help foster independence, confidence, and social development The Ideal Candidate: Experience working with SEND pupils in a school or similar setting A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach Strong communication and teamwork skills Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and differentiated learning techniques Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching & Learning, CACHE, or equivalent) are desirable What’s on Offer?
