MCS Group is looking for an Agile Business Analyst to join a well-established software team in Belfast! As Agile Business Analyst, you will work closely with the software development team, translating requirements and playing a pivotal role in successful software delivery. You will use your previous experience of working on a bespoke software product in a software development environment to make an impact in the overall product delivery.
The Details:
This is a Belfast based position - teams work from their superb city centre office 3 days per week (potentially reducing to 2 once you have settled into the role).
You will learn the ins and outs of this software company's flagship web application.
You will be involved right from the beginning of a project, working closely with the business, gathering and challenging requirements and translating these into best-in-class technical specifications.
This Agile Business Analyst will monitor progress, spotting and mitigating challenges and barriers.
Relationship-building skills are key, and you will foster excellent working relationships with key stakeholders - both internal and external.
The Person:

You will have previously worked on bespoke software projects, in a software-centric environment, and you will also have worked according to an Agile delivery model.
This role requires demonstrable prior experience of stakeholder management, documenting business processes, and working closely with a software development team.
Ideally, you will have worked with Jira.
This role also requires excellent communication skills.
