Job Description:
A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Deputy Care Home Manager to work in an exceptional residential service based in the St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex area. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading health care providers.
This is a residential service for people who have Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS). We are able to support adults aged 18 years and over.
To be considered for this position you must have an NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Health & Social Care.
Key Duties:
1. Dedicated to undertaking the deputy management of supporting people with complex needs; your team will support service users to achieve their goals in life and will actively seek out opportunities for them to develop their skills and confidence through a variety of staff involvement, activities, and other initiatives.
2. Effectively lead and inspire your team to provide the highest quality person-centred support and care.
3. Responsible for delivering best practice in social care whilst continually developing the service.
4. Utilize your skills in an environment where the effective management of people and processes will be critical to the service's success.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
1. In-depth practical knowledge and experience in a similar role.
2. Current knowledge of appropriate legislation.
3. Excellent management and leadership skills.
4. Ability to develop great support skills within the staff team.
Salary and Benefits:
The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of £13.50 per hour, with an annual salary of £28,080 per annum.
