Are you a teacher of Science looking for your first or next role? Are you keen to inspire children to love the subject?
We are looking to recruit an outstanding teacher with a passion for Science who is keen to work as part of an enthusiastic and dedicated team of teachers.
The post ideally requires someone confident to teach Physics to GCSE on a full or part-time basis, but who is also willing and able to teach across the ability ranges at KS3 and KS4 in all 3 sciences. We would be interested to hear from you whichever Science discipline is your specialty as we have the flexibility at this stage in our planning to be open-minded about the person we appoint. You should be able to demonstrate your track record of success and personal qualities to show how you would align with our Trust’s ethos and objectives.
Applications are welcomed from well-qualified and highly motivated individuals who are keen to work with remarkable young people providing an exceptional education for all.
We would welcome applications from ECTs or those looking for the next step in their career – we have a well-established induction and support programme for new teachers and have excellent coaching and mentoring schemes in place to continue your development.
If you wish to apply, please complete all sections of the application form by 12 noon on Friday 14th March 2025. In your supporting statement we would like you to include:
1. a statement as to why this particular job appeals to you.
2. an outline of your relevant experience.
3. a discussion of the personal and professional qualities which you believe suit you for this post.
We do hope you will take the time to apply. This is a marvellous place to work and this is a very exciting opportunity. If you require further information or wish to arrange a visit or discuss any issues, please do feel free to get in touch on 015242 71275. In the meantime, good luck with your application. We look forward to meeting you in the near future.
Cathy O'Neill, Executive Headteacher
