From conducting Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) tests to fault diagnosis and repairs, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring every product that leaves our facility is reliable and ready to perform. You'll also have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, contribute to continual improvement initiatives, and keep our customers smiling with your meticulous attention to detail and dedication to quality. What You'll Do Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Testing & Inspection: Perform thorough inspections and tests of new and customer-returned products, ensuring they meet stringent specifications. Reporting Issues: Use internal systems to log non-conformance and communicate effectively with the engineering team to resolve any deviations. Hands-On Diagnostics: Identify and repair defects within Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs) using specialised tools and test equipment. Documentation Mastery: Keep records updated, including test reports, non-conformance logs, and customer return databases, while ensuring compliance with company standards. Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering team to update test documentation and product instructions. Quality Champion: Promote continual improvement and work as part of a team to drive innovation across the business. Versatility: Support other areas of the business as needed, with authorisation from your Team Leader.What We're Looking For Qualifications A strong educational foundation, including English, Maths, and a science subject. HND or BSc in Electronics (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.Experience Proven experience in an engineering or quality-related production environment. Demonstrated ability to fault diagnose down to the component level on PCBAs. Familiarity with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE).Skills & Abilities Skilled in reading and interpreting manufacturing drawings and understanding product lines. Proficient in using electronic equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes) and hand tools. Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Strong analytical skills to articulate root causes of failures and identify improvement opportunities. Proficient in MS Word and Excel.Why Join Us?
