Applications are invited from suitably qualified graduates for the above position, which is based in Barrhead. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a creative and highly motivated team of Educational Psychologists (EPs) working within a dynamic and inclusiveauthority. The Educational Psychology Assistant will work within the Educational Psychology Service (EPS) team to support its priorities within the Education Department and wider Council. Key tasks will include supporting the EPS to continue to develop and evaluate its model of service delivery and approaches to self-evaluation as well as contribute to the maintenance and further development of the Healthier Minds framework and website (This post is an ideal opportunity for individuals who wish to pursue a career in Educational Psychology.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act. It is an offence therefore to apply if you are barred from working with children. In addition to this, if you have lived or worked in any country outside the UK in the past 10 years, there may be a requirement for an overseas police check.
