Sales Manager – Utilities & Power Quality (Medium & Low Voltage, Transformers)

Role Overview
As Sales Manager, you will spearhead business development and market expansion efforts, focusing on medium voltage, low voltage, and transformer product lines. You will lead and grow a high-performing team of 15 Sales/KAMs, expected to expand to 25 within the next 12 months. The role will emphasize building strategic relationships with Distribution System Operators (DSOs), Energy Utilities, and public sector clients, driving sales growth across multiple European markets.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed growth targets.
* Team Development: Lead and expand a team of 15-25 Sales/KAM professionals, fostering a culture of high performance.
* Market Expansion: Strengthen relationships with DSOs, energy utilities, and public sector stakeholders to expand market presence.
* Product Expertise: Drive sales in medium/low voltage and transformer solutions, showcasing technical expertise and industry knowledge.
* Travel: Engage with clients and stakeholders across Europe (25-40% travel required).
Qualifications and Skills
* Educational Background: Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with significant electrical knowledge.
* Industry Expertise: Proven track record in medium/low voltage and transformer solutions.
* Leadership Experience: Demonstrated success managing and scaling teams of 15+ professionals.
* Market Knowledge: Familiarity with DSO companies, public sector sales, and an established professional network in the utilities sector across multiple territories in Europe i.e (Benelux, Nordics, UK, Ireland)
* Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel nationally and internationally across Europe.
