RESPONSIBILITIES
CustomerSupport & Solutions
• Support IT, DevOps and DataOps inthe maintenance and support of environments (performance, capacity,availability).
• Support DevOps in the delivery of applicationsand services at high velocity.
• Lead role in the review,design, and estimation of client change requests.
Development standards
• Document the design ofnew and amended complex software in accordance with ESG Global Ltdstandards.
• Maintain an overview of the overall system design,providing guidance to the technical lead and developers in designing,implementing and testing code or data changes to the system.
•Maintain high standards of software quality within the team byestablishing good practices, code management processes and habits;mentoring developers on solid design and architecture principles,including practical approaches to ground-up software design. Performquality reviews & ensure consistent test-driven development.
•Lead the development team in identifying opportunities for productimprovements and/or technology re-use.
• Support the Director of Technology in settingthe technical strategic direction for ESG Global Ltd. CRM & Billingthrough the creation of technical roadmaps and selection of frameworksand tools, with awareness of how technical decisions impacts allstakeholders, development, internal and external customers
• Be responsiblefor developers who contribute to the project planning process byproviding estimates of effort and elapsed time for the assigned work;to advise of any deviations from the plan and recommend correctiveactions.
• To ensure all project issues and risks are reportedaccurately; make recommendations for corrective actions.
• Workwith the team leads in resource management including interaction withall departments, engineering, presales, industry ops, service ops etc
ABOUT YOU

• 5+ years’ experience in a senior software developmentposition as part of a development team, writing in Java
• 2+years’ experience working with a service-oriented architecture (SOA)that is deployed using Kubernetes into an AWS cluster.
•Extensive technical knowledge: being familiar with leading programminglanguages and frameworks; understanding the pros and cons of differentsoftware patterns to make the best decisions based on requirements,capabilities, and resources.
• Strong problem-solving andconflict resolution techniques.
• Able to clearly communicatethe mission, deadlines, and expectations to get the best out of theteam.
• Passionate about delivering quality and removesblockers on behalf of the customer or other team members.
•Hard working and willing to go above and beyond when required.
• Ability to identify opportunities for product improvements.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
•Willingness to undergo BS7858 screening.
