Ready to join us? n #LI-EJ1 #LI-Hybrid This is the jobAs an SMR Commercial Analyst, you will be crucial in optimising the AA’s Service, Maintenance, and Repair (SMR) Business Units. Your role involves analysing key commercial data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to support strategic decisions. You\\\'ll produce dynamic reports and models, enhancing your technical skills with both regular and ad-hoc analysis. nYou will collaborate with stakeholders across Network, Finance, Operations, Sales, and Account Management to support the commercial profitability and efficiency of SMR Business Units, focusing on dynamic pricing and customer retention. What will I be doing?nAnalyse financial and operational data to evaluate SMR performance. nDevelop and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs. nIdentify cost-saving opportunities and revenue growth areas. nProvide analysis on consumer SMR customer retention. nCollect and analyse data on consumer SMR jobs, including repair rates, revenue, and gross margin. nCollate and report consumer SMR and Vehicle Inspection management information. nCollect and analyse market data, including competitor pricing information. nDevelop insights to support pricing, margin management, and contract negotiations. nCollaborate with stakeholders to develop forecasts, budgets, and effective insights. nPresent findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.nWhat do I need?nEssential commercial and analytical experience, ideally in a commercial or financial analysis role within the automotive or SMR sector. nUnderstanding of financial modelling and forecasting techniques. nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to organise, filter, and augment data. nHighly numerical with logical thinking and effective communication of complex topics. nQuick learner, able to apply new skills in various situations. nCapable of working under pressure and using judgement to meet deadlines. nExperience with data manipulation and analytical tools (Excel, SQL, Python, Databricks, Power BI). nCommercially minded with sound business judgement and common sense. nAbility to influence peers, senior leaders, and key stakeholders. nAdditional InformationWe’re always looking to recognise and reward our employees for the work they do.
