Job responsibilities Job Title: Band 3 Podiatry Assistant / Senior Healthcare Assistant Location: Eastern Locality, Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust About the Role: Are you an enthusiastic and reliable Senior Healthcare Assistant looking to progress your career and want a normal Monday to Friday shift pattern? You will be looking after patients with a variety of foot conditions in a range of settings. Duties may include: Providing clinical support to podiatrists, including assistance in ulcer/wound care and surgical clinics. Running your own footcare clinics and domiciliary visits, providing nail care under the guidance of a podiatrist. Assisting in the day-to-day running of clinics, including preparation of clinic rooms, ensuring smooth operation of multi-disciplinary team clinics, managing stock, and handling clinical administration. Assisting with patient care and education, providing wound dressings, and liaising with other departments. What Were Looking For: A caring, motivated individual with excellent communication and teamwork skills. Level 3 qualification in healthcare. Good time management and IT skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
