Quality Assurance Inspector
Salary: £27 - £29K DOE
Location: Warrington
Schedule: Monday to Friday, No shifts, permanent position

A leading automotive company that is a leader in their field requires a Quality Assurance Inspector to join their team. They are a growing business and have recently opened a new manufacturing facility to mirror their growth and maximize production.
The focus of this position will be to assist the Quality Assurance and Control (QA/QC) team in inspections and technical testing activities. This includes measuring, monitoring, and improving the organization's QA compliance with external regulations and standards as well as the organization's policies.
Duties of the Quality Assurance Inspector:
1. Review project specifications and recommend mix designs to the Sales Department to quote jobs.
2. Review production instructions and documentation.
3. Monitor the production process and perform regular checks to identify potential problems and malfunctions in the early stages.
4. Identify the root causes of technical issues and perform debugging procedures or recommend fixes.
5. Participate in pre-job bidding preparation.
6. Prepare project submittals and tender responses.
7. Coordinate work with Sales, Operations, Customer Service, and Dispatch to better serve the customer.
8. Attend pre-job meetings and provide input on issues that may impact the product.
9. Maintain document control within the management system.
10. Maintain inspection reports for tooling and legal requirements.
11. Complete internal and external audits to the relevant standards.
12. Handle and provide solutions for project problems and complaints.
13. Create and complete project documents such as installation guides, work instructions, and documentation.
14. Coordinate internal and external build schedules and stakeholder meetings.
To be successful in this role:
1. Good IT skills using Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
2. Well-versed in maintaining and controlling a Quality Management system.
3. Strong math, analytical, and attention to detail skills.
4. Valid Driver's License.
5. Ability to work cooperatively with others.
6. Initiative and sound judgment in work methods and interpreting goals.
7. Ability to work independently and in teams with infrequent supervision and review.
8. High attention to detail to ensure proper manufacturing, installation, and operation of products.
9. Good analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct root cause analyses and devise suitable preventive action plans.
10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate new processes clearly and document critical aspects of the job.
