Job Description Materials Applications Engineer Full time Hybrid, 3 days on site Bristol We currently have exciting opportunities within the Materials Applications team for talented and enthusiastic Materials Engineers. The roles are based in Bristol and will primarily support the Defence Bristol engine projects. The Materials Applications team is responsible for delivering design, development, manufacturing, testing and in-service Materials support to the Defence engine projects. The Materials Applications engineer role provides the opportunity to gain experience of the materials, processes, components and products produced by Rolls-Royce and its suppliers as well as developing key skills and competencies for further personal development. Responsibilities To provide technical and expert materials advice across the Defence Bristol programmes Support design of test programmes and analysis of test programme data Investigate engineering development, production manufacturing and in-service issues using a structured analytical approach and presenting findings clearly and authoritatively Participate in continuous improvement projects Work with us and we’ll welcome you into a culture of caring and belonging where you can be yourself. A qualification in Materials Science or Engineering or significant relevant experience.
