A Snapshot of Your Day
This role with Siemens Energy will be based at the Siemens Gamesa (SGRE) Blade Factory Site in Hull where we manufacture wind turbine blades. It’s never a dull day working at the Siemens Gamesa Blade Factory, a very large busy manufacturing environment, where everyone is playing their part in contributing to our ongoing commitment to the global renewable energy transition.
A typical day will involve working with lots of different stakeholders, including our HR Business Partner, Line Managers, Employees, Payroll, and HR external vendors. You could be supporting on queries, troubleshooting Workday issues, chasing up managers on behalf of HR Services, working with data, and providing support to on-site initiatives. Each day may be different, and you shouldn’t have any issue getting your step count in each day as the factory is a big site and you will be working with many different people!
How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Supporting the HR Business Partner with a wide variety of HR-related administration tasks.
2. Supporting the Regional HR Services Manager UK&IE in embedding and supporting HR process compliance within the SGRE Hull Blade Factory site.
3. Help identify process improvement opportunities.
4. Support with Workday training, queries, and issues.
5. Assist managers and HR Business Partner with Workday administration.
6. Support with Workday data cleansing and maintenance.
7. Liaison between MyHR (HR services provider) and Managers/HR Business Partner when required.
8. Support the HR Business Partner with the coordination and support of HR initiatives and events.
9. Reporting and data gathering using both Workday and our local time management system.
10. Support with right to work checks for new hires and inbound delegates.
11. Assist Managers/HR Business Partner with note-taking.
12. Other additional ad hoc tasks to support projects and other activities throughout the year.

4. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to adapt communication styles for the appropriate audience.
5. Strong Excel skills.
6. Ability to build solid relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
7. Experience in HR administration and HR processes.
8. Experience using Workday (this would be advantageous).
